Even though breastfeeding is natural, it doesn’t always come naturally. It can be challenging.

In addition to learning how to be a mom, you’re learning how to feed your new baby.

Lori Jill Isenstadt, IBCLC, RLC, CCE, CBD –

International Board Certified Lactation Consultant

Registered Lactation Consultant

Certified Childbirth Educator

Certified Birth Doula

Postpartum Doula

I’m a mother of 3 breastfed babies. The suffering that I endured with my first baby really affected the enjoyment of my postpartum life. I knew what it was like to have a newborn and be in pain and filled with anxiety. So, I learned all I could as a lay person and when the kids were older I pursued my dream of becoming a lactation consultant.

As an IBCLC, who supports all breastfeeding families, I have had the privilege and honor to help thousands of mothers enjoy breastfeeding.

I am a writer, an author and a speaker who has presented at many conferences on various topics on breastfeeding education. In addition to being the creator and founder of the online breastfeeding class for parents, I am also an IBCLC in private practice in Phoenix, Arizona.

For the last 20 years, I have taught thousands of breastfeeding classes near me – in hospitals, private homes, birthing centers and large breastfeeding clinics.

I am also the host of the popular itunes podcast called “All About Breastfeeding.” My beautiful breastfed babies are now grown, doing their own thing, which has left me all the time in the world to spend my days helping breastfeeding  families… just like you!

  • No need for you to travel
  • Be able to sit where you typically feed baby
  • Be able to lay down and breastfeed
  • Use your favorite chair or couch to breastfeed
  • Enjoy all the benefits of a full consultation in your own home.

I offer breastfeeding help by providing lactation consultations in the privacy of your home and virtually. My expertise can be helpful during your pregnancy as you prepare for breastfeeding by offering you a prenatal consult and/or my online breastfeeding  class. I  have  the  skills, knowledge and  experience to help you with the common challenges moms typically experience during the early postpartum days. Challenges such as: low milk supply, oversupply, difficulty with latching, painful breastfeeding, engorgement, tongue-tie, pumping AND other breastfeeding challenges. A private lactation consult will help you organize and prepare for your return to work as a breast pumping and working mom.

I happily travel all over the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Travel fees may be  applied to some home  visits for  those  covered  by insurance.
