By: Erin Bacchus January 24, 2009 A few weeks ago I found out that my 4
month old daughter had RSV. Luckily for us, it was a
fairly mild case, but she still was very congested and her
appetite decreased considerably. I too came down with a
cold at the same time. I started to get nervous that my
milk supply was diminishing - and I just wasn't ready to give up
breastfeeding yet! I had a chance to meet with Lori, who
confirmed that my instincts were right and she got me right back
on track to increasing my milk supply. After only a week -
my daughter had gained 9 oz and was doing so much better.
Not only was my office visit reassuring, but it was very
so comforting to have Lori to call with questions after our
appointment (within reason of course!). Thanks for all you
did - mom and daughter are doing great now again! |

By mtrubitzDecember 16, 2008 I cannot say enough about how
fantastic Lori is! She informed us that our daughter was
tongue-tied and that was contributing to our breastfeeding
challenges. After a simple procedure called a frenotomy, our
daughter is breastfeeding like a champ and it has become the
most enjoyable experience for both of us! As Lori told us,
breastfeeding is NOT supposed to hurt. We will refer all of our
new mommy friends to Lori!!! |

By TaraFeruary 11, 2009 Lori Isenstadt is the
best! Breastfeeding is important to my husband and I so we
initially worked with the lactation consultant in the hospital
who had helped us get started with breastfeeding. It was not
until we realized that the baby was calorie deficient and not
gaining weight that we sought out the expertise of Lori. Both
my husband and I would report that it was a, “night and day”
difference between the two consultants. Lori’s knowledge and
experience was evident from the get go in her initial
consultation. She helped my husband and I understand the
reasoning behind our breastfeeding challenges. She helped me
establish a, “healthy, nutritive latch” and guided me on
building up a greater milk supply. She really provided the
support and guidance that any new breastfeeding mother needs. I
have recommended her to several friends and colleagues, I cannot
say enough about how great she really is. Lori’s expertise is
priceless and without her help, I could easily say that I would
not be breastfeeding today. |

By: Amy L. May 22, 2009 Lori is hands down the most knowledgeable,
helpful and wonderful lactation consultant I've seen!! :)
Without her help I would probably have given up with all the
problems I was having breastfeeding my son...and I was
determined not to! It's the best investment you'll ever
make...if you are having problems...SEE LORI! She really is
wonderful! Thank you Lori for giving both my son and I a
wonderful nursing relationship that I treasure each day rather
than a painful daily battle that we were experiencing!! |
